Map of Europe indicating which countries are members of the EAC

Membership of the EAC is open to all national organisations charged by law with the management of archaeological heritage throughout Europe, including where appropriate agencies in a federal context (e.g. German Länder, Swiss Cantons, Spanish autonomous regions). Membership is corporate rather than individual and subscriptions follow the contribution system employed by the Council of Europe.

The EAC has grown steadily since its foundation in 1999. It is currently composed of 32 member countries, and 1 associate member country. The number of organisations represented across those countries is over 90.

If you would like to find out more about membership for your organisation, please contact the EAC, we are always delighted to welcome new members.
