The 23rd Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) will be held from August 30th to September 2nd in Maastricht, The Netherlands. The conference will focus on six key themes, which all relate to the concept of ‘building bridges’. Specific attention will be paid to the long term effects on archaeology of both the Maastricht Treaty and the Valletta Convention.
The programme includes many interesting sessions on archaeological heritage management related topics. You can find the details of all sessions on this page.
These are some of the sessions in which EAC members are involved:
Session #257 Malta: a roadmap towards a global Convention
Session #372 Re-engineering the process: how best to share, connect, re-use and provide access to archaeological information. (Call for presentations)
Please note that proposals for presentations or other contributions need to be submitted to the EAA conference system no later than 15th March 2017.
