EAC published a new survey report on archive selection practice in Europe

The EAC Working Group for Archaeological Archives has recently published their survey report on archive selection practice in Europe - Making Choices for Archaeological Archives, which is accompanied by a Case study of the archaeological selection procedures in Poland.

The report is one of the outcomes from the initiative of the EAC “Dare to Choose: Making Choices in Archaeological Heritage Management” (Making Choices 2018). The EAC Working Group for Archaeological Archives has been considering the subject of selection for archaeological archiving (both finds and documentation) for some time. Their aim is to assist practitioners by producing ancillary guidance to the ARCHES publication “

” (Perrin et al. 2014) and the recommendations of their latest report are suggesting a way to achieve this.
